About

​Dr. Nancy Knechel is a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. As a former NCAA Division I Track athlete, turned health and weight loss expert, she has been committed to improving the health and quality of life of thousands of patients. She believes weight loss reduces poor outcomes from chronic conditions, fends off preventable co-morbidities, and optimizes a fulfilled life. She received her master's as a nurse practitioner from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, and then went on to obtain her doctorate from Yale University. She has received awards for her work, been interviewed and highlighted in numerous publications, and authored many articles. She strives to make every patient feel supported and heard as they achieve
